The Folicello family runs a 10 hectare certified organic farm in the Emilia Romagna region. We currently use their non-filtered Grechetto for our cloudy keg wine. Grechetto (also known as Pignoletto) is Folicello’s calling card variety: lemon, a touch of lavender, and classic almond notes.
One of the more charming things about Folicello is how lovely and kind the people are, and how they go about their lives. They are true believers is leaving the planet better than you found it, and are genuine DIY folks – they made an ad hoc system for filling our kegs! The Folicello family and workers embody that unique Emilia-Romagna cooperative spirit, working together for the greater whole, working with less bump and grind and more smile at the lunch and dinner table.
